✨ Prestige System
Reached level 99 in a skill? Prestige to reset your level, earn a permanent XP bonus, and unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards. Up to 5 tiers per skill.
Overview
Prestige is an endgame progression system that lets you reset a maxed skill back to level 0 in exchange for permanent bonuses and cosmetics. It is available for any skill once it reaches level 99.
Each skill can be prestiged independently up to 5 times (5 tiers). Every prestige tier grants a stacking +5% XP bonus for that skill, making subsequent level-ups faster. Prestige also contributes bonus levels to your total skill level on the leaderboard.
How It Works
XP Bonus per Tier
Each prestige tier adds a flat +5% XP multiplier for the prestiged skill. This stacks linearly:
xpMultiplier = 1 + (prestigeCount × 0.05)
This multiplier stacks multiplicatively with other XP sources (Grindly skill bonus, equipped gear). For example, at Prestige Tier 5 (×1.25) with max Grindly (×1.43): 1.25 × 1.43 = ×1.7875 — nearly 79% bonus XP.
Tier Rewards
A warm bronze outline appears around the skill icon.
Silver outline with a prestige badge displayed on your profile.
A golden profile frame visible to other players on the leaderboard.
Exclusive diamond-themed avatar unlocked for your profile.
Unlocks the title “Transcendent [Skill]” — the ultimate prestige mark.
Leaderboard Impact
Each prestige completion adds 99 bonus levels to your total skill level for leaderboard ranking purposes. This means a prestiged player will always rank higher than a non-prestiged player with the same current levels.
totalLevel = sum(currentLevels) + sum(prestigeCount × 99) per skill
Strategy Tips
- Prestige your primary skill first. The skill you use most will benefit the most from the XP bonus, since you will be earning XP for it constantly.
- Stack with Grindly bonuses. The prestige XP multiplier stacks multiplicatively with the Grindly skill XP bonus (up to +43% at Grindly level 99). Combined, this dramatically cuts leveling time.
- Consider leaderboard impact. Each prestige adds 99 effective levels. If you are competing on the leaderboard, prestiging multiple skills will push your total far beyond the base cap of 1,287.
- Plan for the time investment. Each prestige cycle requires leveling from 0 to 99 again (~1,000 hours base). With the XP bonus from prior prestiges, each subsequent cycle is faster: Tier 1 cuts it to ~952h, Tier 4 cuts it to ~833h.
- In-game skills (Warrior, Crafter, Farmer, Chef) prestige too. While these level through gameplay rather than tracking, the same prestige rules apply. Warrior prestige is particularly valuable for the leaderboard boost.
- Cosmetic rewards are permanent. Even while re-leveling after a prestige, your earned borders, badges, frames, and titles remain visible on your profile.
FAQ
Do I lose my items or gold when I prestige?
No. Prestige only resets the skill's XP and level. Your inventory, gold, equipment, farm, and all other progress remain untouched.
Can I prestige all skills?
Yes. Every skill in the game can be prestiged independently up to 5 times, including in-game skills like Warrior, Crafter, Farmer, and Chef.
Does the XP bonus apply retroactively?
The prestige XP bonus applies to all future XP earned for that skill. It does not retroactively change existing progress on other skills.
What happens after Tier 5?
Tier 5 (Void) is the maximum. After reaching it, the skill can still be leveled to 99 but cannot be prestiged further. You keep the full +25% XP bonus and all cosmetic rewards permanently.
